John Rich, COO

John Rich joined Earth First Landscapes in May, 2013.  As Chief Operations Officer, John is responsible for the over-all daily operation of Earth First and each of its divisions.   That’s a big job in a company like Earth First.  John’s first order of business was to analyze all aspects of daily operations, both internal and external:  this included a vertical audit of all departments including accounting, estimating, billing, asset management, field operations and performance against objective analysis.  John’s background is one of self-motivation and superior performance.  Raised on a rice farm, John developed a strong foundation in mechanical, maintenance, and large equipment operations.  This served him well through the completion of his education at Texas A&M where he graduated in 1995 with degree in Business Management while working 40 plus hours a week in the food service business.  In every endeavor since graduation John has progressed through company ranks rapidly and developed a reputation as a smart, detail oriented operations leader.  At Earth First Landscapes, John’s talents translate into quality performance, efficient execution and high value services for all of our clients.  By implementing best practices and implementing excellent and efficient systems, John has contributed to Earth First Landscapes become one of the most efficient and fastest growing full service landscape companies in Texas.   Not all Landscape Companies have a person of John’s caliber in his position.  He is one more reason that you can be confident in Earth First’s commitment to “do it right – the first time!”
